Nicki Thiim

Nicki Thiim (born 17 April 1989 in Sønderborg, Denmark) is the son of legendary touring car racer Kurt Thiim. Nicki made his first motorsport steps in karting and Danish Formula Ford before he switched to touring cars and raced successfully in the Danish Touring Car Championship and German Seat Leon Supercopa. He won the Seat Léon Supercopa in 2008 with eight wins in 16 races and moved on to the German Porsche Carrera Cup. Since then, he became one of the front-runners in the Porsche one make series and also the entered the international Porsche Supercup.
The 2012 season was his most successful yet, as he finished third in the domestic and the international Porsche series. He also scored podium finished in occasional appearances in ADAC GT Masters, racing a Porsche 911 GT3 R.
In 2013, Nicki competes again in Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup. He was also part of the 24h of the Nürburgring race winning team. Nicki joined Young Driver AMR for the first time at the 2013 FIA WEC Sao Paulo race with great success and will race the Aston Martin also at Austin, Shanghai and Bahrain.
